The evil that faces our country
Yesterday I outlined the evil that faces our country and the Catholic Church – Marxism. I also urged you to read the Gulag Archipelago by Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn who experienced first hand the destructive forces of Marxism, the murder of more than 100 million people in Asia in the 20th century. He also pinpoints precisely the root cause:
“But if I were asked today to formulate as concisely as possible the main cause of the ruinous Revolution that swallowed up some sixty million of our people, I could not put it more accurately than to repeat: Men have forgotten God; that’s why all this has happened.”
Men have forgotten God; that is why all this has happened. Therefore the only answer is a return to God. For this reason God has been sending His Mother Mary, in approved apparitions all over the world to lead us back to Jesus, back to the Father. Our responsibility is to help lead people to Jesus through Mary.
Her Immaculate Heart will Triumph
At Fatima Mary promised that in the end Her Immaculate Heart would Triumph. But she made it clear the Triumph would only come IF we did our part and use the weapon she has given us: The Rosary. Pray the Rosary every day

· The Most Holy Virgin in these last times in which we live has given a new efficacy to the recitation of the Rosary to such an extent that there is no problem, no matter how difficult it is, whether temporal or above all spiritual, in the personal life of each one of us, of our families…that cannot be solved by the Rosary. There is no problem, I tell you, no matter how difficult it is, that we cannot resolve by the prayer of the Holy Rosary.”
Mary promised to destroy Marxism
Mary promised in July of 1917 and again in 1925, that she would destroy Marxism and all of its destructive ideologies, all those things that are wreaking great havoc in our world and Church today, but they will not be solved by any purely human means, they will only be destroyed by Our Lady, but it requires our involvement, through something so simple: the First Saturdays of Reparation. That on the first Saturday of every month we go to Mass, receive communion, Pray the Rosary, think about the life of Jesus for 15 minutes and go to Confession. That’s it. It is so simple that we don’t think it will work, so we don’t take Her seriously, and we don’t do it.
Fr. Andrew Apostoli, in his book Fatima for Today, p.157, relates that Jesus told Sr. Lucia that those who could not accomplish all the requirements of this devotion on Saturday’s could do so on the Sundays following, if their priests were willing to make allowances for just reasons. The Lord wants to make this available to all but lets not try to take advantage of His generosity by our priorities being out of order.
Col. 1:24 Paul wrote:
I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake; and in my flesh I complete what is lacking in Christ’s afflictions for the sake of his body, that is, the Church.
What could be lacking in the suffering of Jesus? Our participation!
Jesus is inviting us to help him turn people away from sin, back to God and to save the world from self-destruction by
Accepting with Trust and offering with Love to Jesus
· What you did not choose
· Do not like
· Cannot change
· Cannot understand
Archimedes: “Give me a lever long enough and a fulcrum on which to place it, and I shall move the world.”
Your own personal cross is your lever, your fulcrum is Christ, now offer your sufferings to Him and he will move souls to heaven
Just say: Jesus I offer this suffering for you and for souls
We have forgotten God
Take the initiative and responsibility for 4-5 people, be they family or friends. Pray for them. Offer sacrifice for them. Take the initiative to know, understand, love and care for them. Share life with them. Just do what you or they like to do and do it together. And have good conversation while you do it. Then, once you have proved you know them and care for them unconditionally – ask them if you can share the Rosary podcast with them because you liked it, you thought they might. Or invite them to pray the Rosary with you. It’s part of your life routine – just invite them in.
The world is in a terrible mess because we have forgotten God.
Mary has given us the remedy:
A. Pray the Rosary every day
B. Five First Saturday’s of Reparation
C. Take up your personal Cross and unite it to the saving work of Jesus
D. Take responsibility for your unit – your 4-5 people you love and care for and lead them to Jesus through Mary.
