She will crush your head

Immediately after the original sin and the fall of the human race, God confronted the Devil saying, “I will make enemies of you and the Woman, and your offspring and her offspring; She will crush your head while you lie in wait for her heel.” Genesis 3:15

The CCC (410) says this is the first announcement of the Messiah and Redeemer; and of a battle between the Serpent and the Woman; and of the final victory of Jesus Christ.

St. Maximilian Kolbe wrote: “Modern times are dominated by Satan and will be more so in the future. The conflict with hell cannot be engaged by men, even the most clever. The lmmaculata alone has from God the promise of victory over Satan. However, assumed into heaven, the Mother of God now requires our cooperation. She seeks souls who will consecrate themselves entirely to her, who will become in her hands effective instruments for the defeat of Satan and the spreading of God’s kingdom upon earth.”

The purpose of the Movement we aim to spread, the Movement of the Holy Family is to answer the call of Mary to belong unconditionally to her and to become in her hands effective instruments to help her crush the head of Satan and bring about the Triumph of her Immaculate Heart.

In all of Her approved Apparitions Mary has given to her children the weapons by which we help her crush Satan’s head:

     i.        Consecration to Her Immaculate Heart,

   ii.        The Rosary,

  iii.        Sacrifice offered for the conversion of sinners

 iv.        Gathering together as teams who strengthen one another.

At Fatima God revealed that His plan to save the world at this moment in history is by means of consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Consecration is the process of the Holy Spirit forming Jesus within us.

It is the mission of the Holy Spirit to conceive and form Jesus in souls. This is accomplished through a collaboration between the Holy Spirit and Mary, not in the sense of the Holy Spirit as the Bridegroom and Mary as the bride or spouse, because that would make the Holy Spirit the Father of Jesus. Instead, Mary is the sacrament of the Spirit,

·       she is the perfect human expression of the maternal mission of the Spirit,

·       cooperating with the Spirit to form Jesus in her womb

·       cooperating with the Spirit to form Jesus in souls

Since the Holy Spirit forms Jesus with and through Mary,

·       The more we unconditionally consecrate ourselves to Mary,

·       the more the Spirit may form Christ with us

·       that is why we have consecration to Mary.

The second means Mary has given us is the Rosary. At the approved apparition in San Nicolas Mary said: “The weapon that has the greatest influence on evil is to say the Rosary."

Sister Lucia of Fatima The Most Holy Virgin in these last times in which we live has given a new power to the praying of the Rosary to such an extent that there is no problem, no matter how difficult it is, whether earthly or spiritual, in the personal life of each one of us, of our families…that cannot be solved by the Rosary. There is no problem, I tell you, no matter how difficult it is, that we cannot resolve by the prayer of the Holy Rosary.

Blessed Fulton Sheen said: If you wish to convert anyone to the fullness of the knowledge of Our Lord and of His Church, then teach him the Rosary. One of two things will happen. Either he will stop saying the Rosary — or he will get the gift of faith.

September 18, 1986 Our Lady said at Medjugorje: Again today, I thank you for everything you have done for me in recent days. I thank you more particularly, dear children, in the name of Jesus, for the sacrifices you have offered this last week. Dear children, you forget that I rely on your sacrifices to help you and to keep Satan away from you. It is for that reason that I again invite you to offer your sacrifices to God with a deep reverence.

The Angel of Portugal said to the children of Fatima: "Make of everything you can a sacrifice and offer it to God as an act of reparation for the sins by which He is offended, and in supplication for the conversion of sinners. In this way, you will draw peace upon your country…Above all, accept and bear with submission the sufferings which the Lord will send you."

·       What you did not choose, do not like and cannot change

·       Accept it with trust and unite it to the Cross of Jesus

·       to bring about the final defeat of Satan and the salvation of souls.

·       Your own cross is a T-bar, a lever to move the world and souls

·       Archimedes: “If I had a lever long enough and a place to stand, I could move the whole world.”

·       Do not waste the gift and power of your suffering; Leverage your cross for Souls and help Our Lady crush the head of Satan

Solitary embers quickly grow cold but a heap of burning coals quickly sets everything ablaze.

The devil seeks to isolate, divide and conquer. Mary seeks to draw her children together because she knows we will find strength and joy in friendship, and the devil will be less likely to discourage or defeat us if we are a heap of burning coals.

Once a week get together with family or friends – have people over for food and drinks, pray the Rosary and talk.

Form your team, get a team, be a part of a team – but whatever you do – don’t let yourself be isolated.

In this decade ask the Holy Spirit and Mary to inspire you.

Then make a shore list of 4-5 people or couples.

Set a date and a place and then invite them to come and pray the Rosary with you and then talk about what you were reflecting on.
