Changing World Events
We should all pray for the end of the War in the Ukraine.
And it is important to know that the root cause of this war, or any war for that matter is sin.
At Fatima, during WW I, Mary showed the three children a vision of Hell and then said:
“You have seen hell where the souls of poor sinners go. To save them, God wishes to establish in the world devotion to my Immaculate Heart. If what I say to you is done, many souls will be saved and there will be peace. WWI is going to end; but if people do not cease offending God, a worse one will break out…”
Mary told us plainly, sin is the root cause of war.
· My sin, your sin and the sin of everyone in the world.
After Fatima – the world did not cease offending God by sin.
· It did not convert from sin to virtue
WWII was not ultimately caused by Hitler or the Japanese.
WWII was caused by the sin of every person
· mounting up like a giant wave
· to swamp the world.
We do not want to accept this personal responsibility because
· everyone wants to change the world,
· yet no one wants to change themselves.

Mary was sent from God on a Rescue Mission as the Queen of Peace.
She told us that if we want to stop wars and bring about peace, we need to do three things:
a. Each one of us must convert from sin to virtue
b. Pray the Rosary every day
c. Do the Five First Saturdays of Reparation.
So, Step One – Our Own Personal Conversion
I. Convert
June 24, 1983 Our Lady said: The only thing that I would want to tell you is to be converted. Make that known to all my children as quickly as possible…I will pray to my Son not to punish the world; but I beseech you, be converted. You cannot imagine what is going to happen nor what the Eternal Father will send to earth. That is why you must be converted! Renounce everything. Do penance…I carry all this to my Divine Son in order to obtain an alleviation of His justice against the sins of mankind. I thank the people who have prayed and fasted. Persevere and help me to convert the world."
Ask the Holy Spirit: “What do you want me to change?”
I asked and listened and He gave me four things.
I don’t like them. But I wrote them down, I look at them each day and I am doing them.
Because I need to convert.

Pray the Rosary
At Akita Japan Mary said
"If men do not repent and better themselves, the Father will allow a terrible punishment on all humanity. It will be a punishment greater than the Flood…Fire will fall from the sky and will wipe out a great part of humanity, the good as well as the bad, sparing neither priests nor faithful. The survivors will find themselves so desolate that they will envy the dead. The only arms which will remain for you will be the Rosary and the Sign left by My Son. Each day recite the prayers of the Rosary.
She continued, "Pray very much the prayers of the Rosary. I alone am able still to save you from the calamites which approach. Those who place their confidence in me will be saved."
At Cuapa Nicaragua Our Lady warned us of what we must do to avoid a third world war.
"Pray, pray, my son, the Rosary for all the world. Tell believers and non-believers that the world is threatened by grave dangers. I ask the Lord to appease His justice, but, if you don't change, you will hasten the arrival of the Third World War."

First Saturdays of Reparation
At Cuapa Nicaragua, Our Lady came to remind us of the Plan for Peace she gave at Fatima, to which we have not responded. She said, if you want to change the course of history and avert a third world war, "Renew the five first Saturdays.”
On the first Saturday of every month
· Go to Confession,
· Receive Holy Communion,
· Pray the Rosary,
· Spend 15 minutes thinking about the life of Jesus
· With the intention of making reparation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Pope Benedict XVI extended the window for confession to
· 20 days prior and 20 days after the first Saturday.
We think we are going to solve all the world’s problems by
· politics and legislation, economics, and military might
· we won’t.
Only a return to God through conversion will bring about world peace

Gather your Family and Friends together
On April 26, 1987 Mary appeared in Hrushiv Ukraine exactly one year after the nuclear disaster at Chernobyl. She said:
Chernobyl is a reminder and a sign for the whole world.
Say the Rosary constantly.
The Rosary is the weapon against Satan.
Satan fears the Rosary.
Say the Rosary every day, constantly, in any gathering of people.
It is good to pray the rosary on you own. But there is a danger. We never invite others to pray with us. Satan hates the Rosary, but if he can keep you isolated and afraid of inviting others to pray the Rosary with you then he can substantially limit the power of the Rosary.
Don’t give in to the tactics of Satan, don’t give in to your fears. Take a risk. Build your team. Invite family and friends to share life and then invite them into your normal routine of praying the Rosary. Leave them free if they don’t want to.
Another way is to invite 4 people to pray one decade of the Rosary each day. Start a chat group with them on our App so you can help one another persevere.
Remember:
Sin is the root cause of all war. We must focus on the call of Our Lady to personal conversion; the Rosary and First Saturdays of Reparation – but don’t do this alone. Build your teams.
