Apparition of San Nicolas

Today I share with you the approved apparition of Our Lady of the Rosary in San Nicolas, Argentina.

From 1983-1990 Jesus and Mary appeared to Gladys Kiroga de Motta, a wife and mother of two, giving more than 1800 messages.

First, Our Lady asked that a Church be constructed in honor of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary. The Bishop, however, wanted a sign. Well, he got one.

A seven year old boy named Gonzolo was dying of brain cancer and he was paralyzed on the right side. However, Gonzolo wanted to receive First Communion before he died so the Bishop sent a priest to give him First Communion and entrust him to Our Lady of the Rosary. Forty five minutes after receiving Jesus in the Eucharist, the paralysis left. Within three weeks the large brain tumor was completely gone.

The Bishop got his sign and started building the Church.

There is an urgency to the messages of San Nicolas

May 13, 1989, on the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima Mary said, “…as previously in Fatima, today my visits are renewed on Earth. They are more frequent and more prolonged because humanity is passing through very dramatic times.

“Has man not understood that he must be uniquely at the service of God? If he resists, his soul will be lost. Many hearts do not accept my invitation to prayer and conversion. That is why the work of the devil is growing and expanding. My dear children, it is only through prayer and conversion that you will return to God. May he not find your hearts dry.”

Then Jesus told Gladys that Mary is the New Ark where we are to find refuge from the flood of evil that is swamping the world today.

Jesus said to Gladys, “Formerly, the world was saved by the ark of Noah. Today the Ark is My Mother. Through Her, souls will be saved, because She will lead them to Me.

He who rejects My Mother rejects Me! Many are letting the grace of God pass by in these days.”

Then Our Lady reminded us of the Power of the Rosary

“The weapon that has the greatest influence on evil is to say the Rosary.

“You see this crown because this is what I want you to do, create a real crown of rosaries. Pray my daughter pray.

How many mouths remain silent, still without even knowing a single prayer which may bring them close to the Lord!

The Holy Rosary is the weapon which the enemy fears. It is also the refuge of those who look for relief for their sufferings,

and it is the door to enter into my heart.”

Our Lady calls us to take part in a Rescue Mission – to save souls

“God's warning is over the world. Those who stay in the Lord have nothing to fear, but those who deny what comes from him do. Two-thirds of the world is lost and the other part must pray and make reparation for the Lord to take pity.

The devil wants to have full domination over the earth. He wants to destroy. The earth is in great danger."

Two-thirds of the world is lost. That means they are in danger of going to hell by their own free choice. The third of the world that is listening must do all they can to help the two-thirds.

So how do we take part in this rescue mission?

Our Lady is calling us to help save the world by two things: live friendship with Jesus and friendship with others.

Our Lady is calling us to friendship with Jesus through the Rosary, that is why she appeared in San Nicolas as Our Lady of the Rosary. And she is calling us to friendship with others. Help the people in your life grow closer to Jesus through your friendship with them. 

Practically, how do we do this? Well, we have to spend time with them, we have to get to know them better and talk with them.

Make the commitment to invite the people in your life to get together every Sunday. That is the day God gave us for family and friends.

Every Sunday, invite family and friends for a meal, drinks and dessert. Go to a park. I don’t care what you do but do something together and talk and delight in one another. But don’t watch screens, that is not spending time together, stop kidding yourself…

But you must also go one step further. Make the commitment to talk with each of them one on one at least once a month. Why? Because one on one is where we really get to know them, can understand them, and it is where we can challenge them and hold them accountable. That is hard to do in a small group.

If you are serious about helping your loved ones to heaven, then you will do this. Our Lady wants Her children to live a Simple Way of Life of Friendship, Good conversation and the Rosary
