John currently serves as a campus minister at Bishop Ward High School in Kansas City, KS. John experienced little to no exposure to Christianity throughout his childhood, but during his senior year of high school, he began to feel a calling. The following year, John attended a non-denominational protestant church and was baptized. In 2006, he was invited to Mass; after attending Mass several times, God granted him the grace of conversion. He was officially received into the Catholic Church in 2008. His desire to bring God’s graces to others inspired him to share what he had learned about the Catholic Church. In 2013, John earned his Bachelor’s degree in Theology from Catholic Distance University. John is currently a candidate in formation for the Permanent Diaconate. John and his wife Tessa have four daughters: Angelina, Sofia, Felicity, and Philomena. They are parishioners at Holy Spirit Catholic Church and reside in Overland Park, KS.
