Lisa Runnels-Nevins

Senior Development Officer

Lisa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Behavioral Science from the University of Kansas and a Master’s degree in Nonprofit Management and Fundraising from Avila University. Prior to School of Faith, Lisa worked in major gift fundraising and grant writing for the University of Saint Mary, KU Endowment, and Avila University. Her biggest goal as a professional is to implement and/or maintain a philanthropic foundation that centers on shared goals and relationships.

Lisa and her husband Derek have five children and a small zoo on their budding urban homestead in Leavenworth, Kansas. When she isn’t wrangling kids, working, or grocery shopping, you can find Lisa outside! Her favorite activities include tending to her ever growing flock of chickens, gardening, and taking road trips to go crystal digging or camping in the desert. Through life experiences she has found a natural devotion to Our Lady and St. Francis of Assisi. She is excited to be part of the School of Faith family and grow in her faith!
