Adam Sloter

Database Systems Manager

Adam holds bachelor’s degrees in Biblical & Theological Studies and Sacred Music from John Brown University and an MBA in Management from Avila University.

His plan after college was to enter Protestant ministry, but when he attended his first Mass at Subiaco Abbey in central Arkansas, he felt the unshakable call to convert to the Catholic faith. Adam and his wife moved to the Kansas City area in 2022 and joined the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil in 2023. After joining the Church, Adam became an Oblate of Subiaco Abbey and lives out a spiritual life dedicated to work and prayer.

Before joining School of Faith, Adam worked as a Fundraising Manager for Kansas City Hospice and previously served as the Fundraising Operations Manager and Parish Relations Director for Avila University.

He and his wife have been blessed with one beautiful child, and in his spare time Adam loves to read, write, play chess, and cheer on the Chicago Cubs.
